Farewell Weltwaerts-Volunteers BORDA Indonesia 2010/2011

We Weltwarts- volunteer 2010/2011 want to say “thank you” for the time we could spent in Indonesia, for all the insight in the work of BORDA and its partner network and last but not least for the insight into Indonesia culture. We all went home with new impressions, ideas and a deeper understanding in Indonesia.

After around one year in Indonesia, Julia Linn and Rossa Bannemann went already home one month ago for realizing new plans. Fransyska Kyn and Ilona Lender are still involved in the WSP- Monitoring (Water and Sanitation Program of the World Bank) of DEWATS project all over Indonesia. Meanwhile Karolina Smolik still assists AKSANSI (Asosiasi KSM Sanimas  Seluruh Indonesia), a network partner organization of BORDA Indonesia here in Yogyakarta, which she helps to implement.
Nils Warburg decided to saty one year longer in BORDA Indonesia and is going to support BORDA by his engineering skills.
In the mid of October for new Weltwarts-Volunteers from Germany started their work in BORDA office Yogyakarta to widen their horizon.
We want to say thank you for all your support and hope we could give a small contribution in return as well.
Terima kasih banyak untuk semuanya
