The workshop was organized and facilitated by Directorate of Settlement and Environmental Development - General Directorate of Cipta Karya Ministry of Public Work. The aim of this workshop is to give appreciation for KSM SANIMAS as well as related stakeholders either from Central Government and Local/Regional Government or NGOs that keep giving their support for sustainability of SANIMAS Program.
This workshop was attended by representatives (Government and KSM Sanimas) from 24 provinces (North Sumatera; West Sumatera; Riau; South Sumatera; Bangka Belitung; Bengkulu; jambi; Lampung; Banten; West Java; Central Java; DIY; East Java; Central Kalimantan; South Kalimantan; East Kalimantan; Bali; NTT; NTB; Gorontalo; South Sulawesi; North Sulawesi; West Sulawesi; South east Sulawesi); NGOs (BORDA, BEST, LPTP, BALI FOKUS); Senior Field Facilitator; and Aksansi secretariate.
Sessions in the workshop were designed for the participants to share experiences and obtain lesson-learn from each others. The sessions were divided into several topics: (1) KSM SANIMAS exposure – where there were 4 KSM SANIMAS gave presentations about their SANIMAS and their experiences; (2) PEMDA Exposure – the presentations were delivered by local government representatives to share experience in supporting KSM SANIMAS in their areas.
During the event, there were around 100 people visited AKSANSI booth. AKSANSI provided information on its activities to its visitors; and to make it more interesting for the visitors, AKSANSI gave forms of short and simple questions to be filled by visitors and doorprize in the form of 2 mugs and 2 clocks. The filled forms will be used by AKSANSI as one of resources in promoting AKSANSI and developing networks. AKSANSI will put the information into its database.

Besides AKSANSI there were also booths from organisations/companies : AMPL; Wavin (piping company); Dit PPLP Cipta Karya PU; DEWATS Fiber and IATPI (Ikatan Ahli Teknik Penyehatan dan Teknik Lingkungan Indonesia- Indonesian Society of Sanitary and Environmental Engineers).
